Classes Commence at DBI’s Latest Academic Project
DBI Projects unveiled a new campus and headquarters for Relay Graduate School of Education in a Landmarked building in Downtown Manhattan.
Building on DBI’s long-term relationship with the Robin Hood Foundation and non-profit leaders in the city, DBI was engaged by the national organization to outfit a space that could accommodate the demands of its fast-growing population of student and staff. The 33,000 square-foot campus triples the amount of classroom space and features a storefront entrance on 25 Broadway with a state-of-the-art classroom visible to passersby. Located two floors above are more classrooms, breakout lounges, a library, and office space that encompasses the organization’s national headquarters. These levels are accessible to students and staff via a dedicated elevator.
With the contributions of Transwestern, Method Design, ICOR Associates, Pentagram and JM Zoning, DBI’s dedicated team was able to see the project to a successful completion, on time and under budget.
