Revitalizing a Historic Campus in Princeton, Turning Operational Deficit into Surplus
We partnered with the Eastern Province of the Congregation of the Mission of St Vincent de Paul (The Vincentians) to develop repositioning strategies for their assets and to create financial margins. This resulted in the transformation of a character-filled historic property near Princeton, New Jersey into a successful educational campus and public memorial park that would generate income for our client while honoring the site’s rich history.
Working closely with the Plainsboro township, we kept the existing Gothic Revival and Arts & Crafts architecture intact, including a remarkable chapel from 1932. We led the rezoning process, assembled educational tenants and cemetery operator, secured a long-term lease, and set up a financial plan for a thriving campus and memorial park.
Our longstanding relationship with the Vincentians also includes projects in California, Greece, France, and Italy.
