Fessenden School Dining Commons
Supporting a School with Growing Facilities Needs
We’re currently working with The Fessenden School, a boys’ day and boarding school in West Newton, Massachusetts, to create a new dining hall on their 41-acre campus.
Our client came to us to assess different options for expanding their dining room capacity and improve the efficiency of their back of house operation. After conducting a study that explored options for renovation, expansion, or building a new dining hall in a different location, the team collectively decided on creating a new facility. and renovating the existing location for faculty housing and as a community gathering space. We created preliminary schedules and budgets for the schools’ consideration, guided informed decision making, and are now managing this project through design and into construction to suit our clients’ growing needs.
Jennifer Koffel, a DBI Project Executive and leader of Project Management for New England, has a long history with The Fessenden School.
