Wajamama Birth Village

We teamed up with WAJAMAMA Wellness Center and MASS Design Group to help improve healthcare for women and girls in Zanzibar. The goal was to make holistic healthcare accessible to everyone, no matter their financial background.

We supported WAJAMAMA’s vision for a special place called the Birth Village which will address the lack of adequate places for childbirth in Zanzibar and will provide safe and dignified birth experiences.

Our role on the team was to determine project feasibility through scenario development, budget and operating pro forma creation. This analysis helped WAJAMAMA develop a project implementation roadmap, and make a compelling case to potential funders.
