Camden Prep High School Wins AIA Philadelphia Architectural Excellence Award

February 4, 2025

Congratulations to our client Camden Prep High School, project architect DIGSAU, and construction manager Torcon on winning the 2024 AIA Philadelphia Architectural Excellence Award.

DBI Projects served as the project’s owner’s representative and worked with school leaders to identify the site, procure and manage the design team, perform due diligence, lead the entitlements process, and oversee the ground-up construction and closeout of the facility.

In addition to classrooms, the new High School features a turf field, science labs, performing arts rooms, a student commons, and a multi-purpose gym. The building was designed with an abundantly lit lobby, spacious hallways, and an activated student commons that flanks an outdoor courtyard and athletic fields.

DBI Projects’ Philadelphia office is growing and taking on more K-12, higher education, arts and cultural, and non-profit projects in the region. Recent clients include the Kaiserman JCC, Congregation of the Mission, and Hebrew Public Charter School’s Philadelphia campuses. Ricky Gautier, Head of DBI Projects Philadelphia, was recently interviewed by Blueprint Commercial on how we are driving impactful change through our work.
