Drive Change Celebrates 10 Years & New Headquarters

April 23, 2024

Congratulations to Drive Change on their 10-year anniversary and official opening of their new NYC home – a night filled with joy, great music, and of course, amazing food cooked by the team of talented fellows!

We are thrilled to have supported the organization in achieving its vision of expanding its facilities and supporting more fellows. Drive Change’s new headquarters, located in the historic former Pfizer Plant on Flushing Ave in Brooklyn, includes a large commercial-grade kitchen, flexible teaching space, and administrative areas. Their new facility is full of natural light and was designed by Method Design.

Drive Changes runs an 4-month paid fellowship program that provides culinary training and professional development coaching to youth aged 18 – 25 recently released from the criminal justice system. Their mission is to support formerly incarcerated young people, and create quality employment pathways to ensure their economic and emotional wellbeing. They work to create systemic change and sustainable impact through unapologetically reimagining what’s possible for the food and hospitality industry.

We are humbled to have supported Drive Change in reaching this milestone and cannot wait to see the amazing things they do in this new space!
