PAC NYC Perelman Performing Arts Center Opens at the World Trade Center
We are so excited that the PAC NYC Perelman Performing Arts Center has opened at the World Trade Center.
A big congratulations to everyone involved in bringing this vision to life! DBI Projects is incredibly proud to have been part of this landmark project.
PAC NYC is a distinctive piece of public architecture designed by Joshua Prince-Ramus of REX. The cube shaped building is clad with nearly 5,000 precisely placed translucent panels of Portuguese marble that create a warm glow as evening rolls in. Internally, PAC NYC reveals itself as a highly complex series of three flexible performance spaces conceived by London-based theater planners, Charcoalblue. Together, these spaces and their possible combinations result in numerous different possibilities for artists to explore.
Michael Bloomberg described the project as “one of the most complicated construction projects in modern history” and we can’t wait to join patrons from around the world in experiencing what artists will create in this building.
