Registration has Opened for this Fall’s SCUP Symposium at Bard College

Bard College: Design that Honors the Past while Building for the Future is a one-day event celebrating the college’s unique architectural heritage and new buildings.
It will feature tours and deep dives into DBI Projects’ recent work with the College: an unparalleled Performing Arts Lab designed by Maya Lin and William Bialosky and a new Passive House student housing and campus center designed by KPF and Civilian.
With work by Gehry Partners, Venturi Scott Brown and Associates, and Rafael Viñoly Architects, the campus juxtaposes various architectural styles across its site above the Hudson River. We hope you’ll leave the symposium with insights to help finance, develop, design, and build resilient, culturally vibrant, and ecologically responsible educational environments that honor the past while building for the future.
