When Scaffolding Handed Us Lemons, We Tapped Architects to Make Lemonade

The New York Times highlighted how the ever present “sidewalk shed” is being creatively reimagined, including COOKFOX Architects’ design to replace temporary scaffolding with a permanent curving canopy crowned with plants and greenery.

The idea was born out of DBI Projects’ design competition for Seward Park Cooperative’s master plan.
