Mariela specializes in managing diverse projects across local and international markets and oversees DBI’s Surety practice. With expertise across diverse sectors, Mariela has successfully led projects for private, non-profit, and institutional clients around the world, from Costa Rica and Mexico to France and Australia. She oversees the global asset management team for CIEE, multiple ground-up K-12 schools, various residential cooperative improvements, and initiatives for Booking Holdings’ portfolio. Additionally, Mariela completed the first mass timber redevelopment in Boston. Beyond DBI, Mariela serves on the board of directors for the Coalition for Hispanic Family Services, a nonprofit that empowers children, youth, and families while reinforcing cultural identity.
