Lake Placid Center of the Arts

Enhancing an Anchor of Arts in the Adirondacks

Nestled in Northern New York State’s beautiful Adirondack Park, the Lake Placid Center for the Arts (LPCA) offers exceptional music, dance, theater, film, and visual arts performances, as well as arts-in-education programs, workshops, and residencies for aspiring and renowned artists. For more than 50 years, the Center has featured exceptional year-round artistic programming across its campus.

In 2022, LPCA began an effort to re-envision its campus to further its mission for its next 50 years (and more). Following extensive visioning and early capital planning, we joined the team to structure these conversations into a project vision and capital project plan that LPCA could use in seminal project fundraising. Last year, LPCA was announced as a NYSCA Large Capital Improvement Grant award recipient, receiving a $7.5M grant that is one of the largest grants ever awarded to a cultural institution by the state of New York. This fueled continued advancement of the project, which is now in design and anticipated to start construction in 2025.

Start the conversation.
