Celebrating The Jewish Museum’s Reimagined Collection Galleries
The Jewish Museum invited DBI to join them in a preview celebration for its reimagined collection galleries and the opening of the Pruzan Family Center for Learning.
The project encompasses two floors of the Museum, some of which have not been open to the public for nearly a decade, and includes a stunning display of over 130 Hanukkah lamps within a 50-foot-long custom vitrine—the museum has over 1,050 lamps in its collection.
The transformed spaces enhance the mission of the Jewish Museum to explore the vibrancy of Jewish world culture through art to offer new insight into the human experience. The spaces open this Friday with the exhibition Identity, Culture, and Community: Stories from the Collection of the Jewish Museum and the Pruzan Family Center for Learning.
Realizing this vision is the result of over two years of collaboration between DBI Projects, the Jewish Museum staff, and project partners including UNS, Method Design Architecture + Urbanism, PLLC, New Affiliates, and Consigli Construction Co. Congratulations to the Jewish Museum on this milestone moment.
