DBI Projects is Honored to be Managing New Performing Arts Center Project at Bard College

November 3, 2022

We are honored and thrilled to be managing Bard College’s latest project: a Maya Lin-designed center for performing arts.

Set to break ground in late 2023, the $42M project expands the college’s existing performing arts program, notably based in the Frank Gehry-designed Fisher Center on the college’s main Annandale-on-Hudson campus. Designed in collaboration with Bialosky and Partners and Charcoalblue, the building will provide studios for the center’s dance, theater, opera, and orchestral performances.

Having relished in managing state-of-the-art performing arts center projects including St. Ann’s Warehouse at the Brooklyn Navy Yard and the Perelman Performing Arts Center at the World Trade Center, DBI is delighted to lend our project planning and management expertise to this ambitious endeavor.

Learn more about the 25,000-sf building that artistic director Gideon Lester calls a “generational and stylistic dance between Frank Gehry and Maya Lin” in the New York Times.
