Bard College Annandale Student Residences

DBI Projects partnered with Bard College to expand and modernize their student housing offering at its Annandale, New York campus. Our work began through close collaboration with the college to establish a private public partnership and secure large-scale tax-exempt bond financing to fund the new development.

Following completion of this initial development work, we oversaw the design and construction of the project. The buildings were designed with meticulous attention to energy efficiency, employing innovative sustainability methodologies to achieve Passive House certification.

In addition to 450 new beds, the development created a new student life center on Bard’s previously underserved North Campus.

The project was completed on time, within budget, and opened for the Fall semester of 2025.
